Join us for a screening and discussion during the final evening of the Environmental Film Series held at sponsored by members of the Chester County Environmental Alliance. 

The film: "The Future of Energy" will be shown the evening of Friday, Dec. 7 at West Chester University, with guest speakers including Director of PennFuture's Energy Center Rob Altenburg, Jess Cadorette, and Jim Wylie.

Time: Doors open with refreshments at 6:30 p.m. Discussion follows the film.

Rob Altenburg, Director, PennFuture’s Energy Center
Rob Altenburg brings a career’s worth of environmental, climate, and energy expertise to his advance clean energy solutions for Pennsylvania. As Energy Center Director, he analyzes and provides expert comments and testimony on legislation and regulations. He works with regulatory agencies and clean energy industry experts on climate and energy issues and provides technical assistance and research on methane and fossil fuel impacts. Rob speaks extensively throughout Pennsylvania to students, community groups, and other organizations on climate and energy issues. 

Jess Cadorette, Climate Defender Organizer, PennEnvironment
Jess helps to educate the public on climate and clean energy policies at state and federal level. She mobilizes and empowers citizens to push their legislators to take action and stand up for our environment. Jess will update folks on the growing movement to transition the state of Pennsylvania to 100% Renewable Energy. 

Jim Wylie, Sierra Club, Southeastern PA Group, Chair
Jim has been working with volunteers in the greater Philadelphia area to push for 100% renewable energy goal setting, transition planning and transformative action at the municipal level. Jim will give a quick update on regional accomplishments.
