Previously, Glass worked for four years in the environmental practice groups at two large law firms in Philadelphia, where he represented clients in complex litigation and transactions involving environmental issues. 

Glass received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a member of the editorial board of the "Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law," and his undergraduate degree from Haverford College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. 

Glass is a member of the bars of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Supreme Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third and Fifth Circuits.  He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. 

Glass is the author of several articles on topics in environmental law, including "The New Dirt on Dirt," Real Est.: A Supplement to the Legal Intelligencer and Pa. L. Wkly., July 2004

Before attending law school, Glass taught English and coached varsity wrestling at a high school in rural North Carolina.
